David started his career at 16 by washing cars, he was quickly noticed by Michial Shumate, the owner of a multi-brand car dealership, who became his mentor. This early mentorship set him on the path to becoming an expert in the dealership business. In the early 90s, he began to empathize more with customers, focusing on helping them achieve their desires. Today, he is committed to continuous improvement and delivering smooth, seamless customer experiences. Even amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, his team managed to deliver over 1600 high-performance motorcycles in Vietnam, securing their position as the No.1 Dealer Group in the country.
He believes that the future of business lies in being agile and customer-focused, striving to eliminate friction in every department to simplify customer interactions. Driven by his family and passionate about the power of sales, he actively engages with his community through organizations like AmCham, BritCham, Business Executive Network, and various charity events. In his free time, he enjoys staying fit, mountain biking, and savoring coffee.
