A serial entrepreneur at heart, David specializes in translating sophisticated business strategy, market knowledge, and competitor insights into tactical business plans and customer-centric solutions that maximize revenues and ROI. From his early days in the Big4 Consulting world, to the 25+ years of worldwide experience as founder of multiple recruitment and search firms, David has built a reputation as a champion of responsive, specialist, relationship-focused consulting and advisory services. In addition to leading the growth of the 5 country offices of BARTON PIKE Executive Search servicing EMEA, USA, Oceania, and SE Asia markets, he is an active and involved Executive Team Member of the New York based Bluesteps organization – the largest provider of coaching and advisory services to C-suite leaders and board members globally.
David currently sits on the board of several early-stage Tech firms and, early in his career, was co-Founder and seed capital investor of an HRTech platform that listed in the early 2000’s, offering 70X shareholder value growth. He initially graduated with a BA (Economics) and a Bachelor of Psychology before undertaking an MBA. Executive programs have been completed at Oxford University UK and Stanford University USA. Fitness is a large part of David’s life – he enjoys personal training/gym workouts and completed his first half-marathon in 2022. He loves theatre, comedy, musicals, and traveling to far-flung countries to see his favorite bands from a vaguely remembered and totally misspent grungy/techno youth.
