The year was 2009, a pivotal moment when Dhush & his team embarked on the audacious journey of founding his company, a retail business specializing in hand-knotted and handcrafted rugs. This venture was the culmination of over 25 years of hands-on retail experience, beginning in Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia before settling in Vietnam. The initial years were marked by a dynamic and evolving retail climate in Vietnam, where traditional brick-and-mortar stores thrived, and consumers cherished the tactile experience of shopping. The company flourished in this environment, offering an exquisite range of artisanal rugs that resonated with customers’ appreciation for craftsmanship, enhancing the overall sensory experience in appreciating the finer aspects of Hand Knotted rugs.  Recognizing the tremendous potential in this art form, and recognizing a shift in the market, Dhush created the Trademark Registered Brand – The Gallery Exclusive Vietnam. This brand has since been at the forefront of the retail market in Vietnam and within the broader Asian region.

As a corporate strategist and developmental specialist, Dhush positioned The Gallery Exclusive Vietnam on a fast track to total integrated solutions in the hospitality, commercial and residential segments specializing in carpets and rugs, soft furnishings, art, and collectibles. Team spirit remains the cornerstone of The Gallery Exclusive Vietnam and continues to expand on a bespoke portfolio of over 50 projects in the last decade.
