We publish articles from both professional journalists and experts in various fields such as management, coaching, leadership, sustainability, economics and more. We assign articles for both print and digital forms, podcasts, and videos while prioritizing subjects that resonate with our readers.
If you’re interested in working with us, take a look at some of the qualities we look for in our contributors.
- Expertise: We’re seeking demonstrated knowledge of the subject you’re interested in writing about. This knowledge can come about in different ways. Either you’re a journalist with a portfolio of writing that can showcase your skills, or you’re an expert in your field, and you’re interested in promoting/sharing your knowledge through a column or article.
- Originality: Make sure to look through previous editions of [C] Vietnam to see if we’ve already published an article similar to what you’re pitching. It should go without saying that your work should be 100% your own, with no copyright infringement or plagiarism.
- Brand Promotion: We are not looking for articles that simply promote a single brand. If you’re interested in a long-form article about your company, please see our Advertise with Us page to learn about promotional advertorials.
- Diversity: We strive to publish articles that avoid stereotypes and bias in an effort to be as inclusive as possible.
How it Works:
Send a query on our Contact Us page with the headline WRITE FOR [C]VIETNAM. Please include a short summary of who you are and what you would like to write.
We will get in touch with you to learn more about your writing/business credentials. Be aware that due to our volume of work, you may not receive an immediate response. Please be patient and contact us again if you don’t hear from us after two weeks.
If you’re accepted as a contributor:
We have a thorough editorial process, which means you may be asked to do multiple rounds of revisions. Even after these edits, your text may be edited to reflect our specific style guidelines. We retain final decision rights over headlines so that your article can best reach our audience.
We also retain the right to publish the article across our multiple sources – online, print, newsletter etc.
Image sourcing:
We appreciate original photography whenever possible, but we will source images for the magazine if necessary.
